Jason Aldean’s Nashville-area home is for sale

Another local celeb home hits the market — and once again, if you love window-shopping luxury homes, there’s a whole lot of fun packed in the listing.

The home: a nearly 9,000-square-foot estate in Columbia, Tennessee, on just shy of 121 acres there in Maury County, with 6 beds, 8 1/2 baths and serious country views.

Its owners: Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany, according to press reports. (The platinum Aldean records on the mantel make a good argument too.)

About 45 minutes outside of Nashville, the property is certainly fit for a platinum superstar — it’s full of luxury details with a rugged edge, from a kitchen full of warm reclaimed wood to the occasional antler-based light fixture and taxidermy trophy.

The owners’ suite, with a cozy stone fireplace and expansive glass doors leading out onto a private covered patio, looks well-suited for famous owners too.

The less-than-common pluses at this property are a particular wow, though. Among them:

— a 4,100-square-foot detached bowling alley with two lanes and living quarters included (2 beds, 1 1/2 baths, full kitchen and bar and more)

— a more than 10,000-square-foot horse barn with 10 stalls, multiple paddocks and tack rooms and a full bathroom

— a stylish home gym with a wet bar and attached bath

— a resort-style outdoor entertaining space with a full outdoor kitchen, lots of covered seating and a big, crystal-blue pool

— in the home’s entryway, a custom fish tank designed by the folks behind Animal Planet show Tanked, a project Brittney commissioned while her husband was away on tour, as a big (big) surprise

The listing notes that there’s also space delineated for a helipad, should the new owners need one. And the driveway alone is nearly a mile long. Hard to encapsulate just how much wow is packed into this property.

The Aldean family apparently (and unsurprisingly) isn’t leaving Tennessee — Brittany shared on Instagram that they’re getting ready to build a “dream home” on a new piece of property. If the Columbia estate doesn’t qualify a “dream home,” we can’t even begin to visualize how intense the new Aldean family homestead will be.

Offered by Andrew Day with Benchmark Realty, LLC, the Columbia estate is listed at $7.875 million, and you can see lots more details and photos in the MLS listing here.

Even if you’re not in the market for a multi-million-dollar Nashville-area estate, it’s worth exploration for all the fun design details.
