It’s understandable, while you’re gathering Christmas presents and hosting parties, that you might end up a little behind on making your Nashville New Year’s Eve plans. But as busy as our city’s gotten over the past few years, last-minute New Year’s Eve planning can get a little… complicated.
That said, if you’re about to start scrambling to get your itinerary sorted for New Year’s Eve in Nashville, you still have options — and good ones, too.
Below, a few of the New Year’s Eve parties in Nashville that we had on our to-consider list, all of which still had tickets available as this post was going up:
Nashville New Year’s Eve plans you can (likely) still get in on
Let the Good Times Roll NYE Party, at UP, a rooftop lounge
Rolling from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., UP’s party offers a Mardi Gras theme, with a New Orleans-inspired dinner buffet, plus live music, games, raffles, your standard champagne toast and more — including their gorgeous on-high view of Nashville, and fire pits to keep you snuggly.
L27’s downtown Nashville rooftop lounge is among the most stylish perches to take in the city from up top, and their New Year’s Eve party (set for 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.) keeps it classy, with jazzy accompaniment, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a Veuve Clicquot midnight toast. Tables were already sold out, but general admission tickets were still available as of this posting.
An affordable way to wine down 2018, East Nashville’s Nashville Urban Winery is hosting a casual hang with options that range from $25 to $100, with the $50-$100 tickets giving you access to endless sangria wrangled from locally made Love & Exile wines. They’ll start up the sangria pre-party at 7 p.m., and host a late-night dance party until 2.
Like the idea of your New Year’s Eve party dollars going toward a worthy cause? Take a look at the Fire Ball NYE party, which has plenty going on — from live music, sparkling wine and snacks provided by Fresh Hospitality throughout the night, to a Party Fowl breakfast buffet after the ball drops — with proceeds benefiting W.O. Smith Music School and the Phoenix Club. Both organizations help young people in Nashville, through music instruction and professional mentorship, respectively.
Go old school for the New Year: Woolworth on 5th is hosting a party in the New Era Ballroom with live big band music and dancing all night, with instructors on hand to show you the moves. Tickets are already sold out for the dinner-and-dancing option, but if you’re just looking to dance, you still have a chance — and it’s just $30, champagne included.
Have kids, or just not up for a late night? East Nashville Beer Works’ annual NOON Year’s Eve Celebration is a perfect way to celebrate while the sun’s still out — there’ll be food, kid-friendly live music, plenty of beer and a countdown to noon. Sure, you’ll technically be celebrating your way into not-quite 2019, but if you’re an early to bed/early riser, it’s a New Year’s Eve in Nashville slam dunk.

Tickets: None needed — just show up and enjoy (but expect a crowd)
Hope one of these ends up being the right Nashville New Year’s Eve ticket for you, and hope 2018 goes out on a high note.
