The Gulch/Downtown/Midtown Real Estate

Who doesn’t want to live in Downtown Nashville? The city is always hopping, with special events happening at any given time. Concerts, nightlife, sports, and fine dining make this city one of the fastest growing in the country, and you could live right in the middle of it all. Believe it or not, it’s not as expensive to live downtown as you might think, as long as you choose your new home wisely. You can fine anything from studio lofts to luxury high-rise condominium units, so as long as you’re sure of what you want, you’ll definitely find it here.

The smaller lofts can go for around $200,000, as long as you know where to look. These are often housed in historic buildings, such as the old Kress building. The Arts Avenue Lofts are another affordable option for downtown living. If you prefer something more luxurious, the Viridian is also available, but you will be hard pressed to find anything under $350,000 here. For larger units on higher floors, the sky is the limit on pricing.

The real draw here is the shopping and dining you’ll find right outside your door. Broadway and 2nd Avenue make up most of these hot spots, but you can venture to other areas of downtown to find things others may not know about. Even if you don’t plan to find a home in the heart of the city, you’ll love visiting the stores.
